GroundSleeve is a metal finned reinforcement system designed to be installed in the ground beneath a road safety barrier post. Its purpose is to engage a larger volume of soil to increase the ground’s resistance so that the barrier performs as intended in the event of a vehicle impact.

The system only modifies the terrain and does not alter the certified barrier itself, so it does not count as a product modification.

GroundSleeve can be installed with a standard pile-driver machine on new or existing barriers, offering improved anchoring performance.
