Gate systems
Via Nordic is a specialist in all types of vehicle-restraint barrier gate systems. We support consultants and clients in selecting the appropriate solution, whether it is a simple mechanical gate or a fully automated system with integrated control linked to a VTS (Ventilation/Traffic System). Today, gate barrier solutions are typically required to fulfil up to three functions: traffic guidance, emergency opening, and operational/service opening. Traffic guidance solutions are the most space-demanding, and it is not always straightforward to define the exact opening width required.
We offer the following solutions, with additional systems currently under development:
Barrier gate with lifting arm:

Hydraulic manual opening with a total span of 2 × 14 m.
CADO
H2 / W2 ASI C
Electromechanical opening with a span of 9 m.
Can also be installed as 9 + 6 m = 15 m opening.
Fully automated, with control integrated to VTS.

Barrier gate with swing / wing solution:

Fully automated system with control integrated to VTS.
Wing-type solution with arms moving laterally. Multiple configurations are available in terms of opening length, using either a single-arm or dual-arm arrangement. The system is assembled in 6 m modules. Installation of a crash cushion on one arm is possible.
